Overview

PetCode is a Pet-Tech Startup that helps pet owners keep their furry friends safer, happier, and healthier with our Smart QR Tag and companion mobile app. We raised over $10,000 in crowdsourced KickStarter funding and have since expanded to have thousands of PetCode pack members worldwide.

My contributions as a UX designer include user research, ideation, design, analyzing data, usability testing, and ensuring our product embodies our business goals while also fulfilling our users' needs.

Problem

Pet care comes with extensive responsibilities ranging from administering medications to ensuring your pet has up-to-date tag information in case of an escape.

According to ASPCA, around 6.5 million pets are abandoned at pet shelters every year largely because of how overwhelming the pet care experience can be. Furthermore, here are some alarming statistics regarding pet safety:

At PetCode, we aim to streamline the pet care experience and increase pet safety with our Smart QR Tag and companion app.
